Composer Stephen Schwartz receives 3 Oscar nods

Prolific composer Stephen Schwartz received three Academy Award nominations this week, all in the category of Best Song, for his work on the Disney movie Enchanted. The announcement came just days after AOP presented a highly successful workshop of Seance on A Wet Afternoon in New York. Act One of Seance was performed as part of AOP’s First Chance series and featured soprano Lauren Flanigan (pictured at right with Mr. Schwartz) in the role of Myra.
